ALPHONSE RAGUSA was born on August 2, 1981 at Albert Einstein Hospital in the Bronx, NY. While growing up in Throggs Neck and attending Cardinal Spellman H.S., Alphonse took a special interest in technology. His education continued into Fordham University where he attained a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. While working in the College's Duplicating Center throughout his time at Fordham as well as assuming a technical/teacher's assistant position at Westchester Community College, Alphonse obtained technical and customer relations experience.
Alphonse's professional career began with Ziff Davis Media in its PC Magazine Labs in January of 2004. There, he worked extensively doing database/inventory work, benchmark testing of various tech products and shipping/receiving. After having several product reviews published for the well-respected magazine and website Alphonse accepted an offer from A.S.C.A.P. in February 2005 for a Data Analyst position, which included database and general systems support for the non-profit's T.V. Department. After moving to Westchester in mid-2006, Alphonse was happily married to Lauren Montano in the Fordham University Chapel. From mid-2007 to mid-2009 Alphonse worked for Axiom Software as their Technical Writer and QA Analyst but is now looking for a new position, preferably in tech sector. In his spare time, Alphonse enjoys reading, writing, discussing politics, playing softball, and watching baseball and football. He also dreams of one day opening his own panini shoppe and traveling around the world. |
